Description

We present natural tansy essential oil for animals, obtained from the species with the botanical name Tanacetum vulgare. The liquid is offered under the name Tansy natural essential oil for animals. The composition of the product is formed entirely of natural substances, which the wild plant raw material releases during steam distillation. The product remains free of preservatives and free of colourants throughout its content. Its content owes its purity to the natural cultivation, in which the herb develops on its own in the wild habitats throughout the warm season. The habitats extend across Bulgaria, where the species occupies dry terraces, old field boundaries, roadside strips and open sunny meadows in the lowland areas. The plant belongs to the family Asteraceae, whose herbaceous species retain the volatile substances in glandular hairs. The hairs cover the flowers, which enter the distillation during the summer flowering of the wild population. The distillation extracts the pure volatile part from the flowers, which is why the advantages of the oil stand out clearly. The advantages are complemented by the Bulgarian origin and by the entirely plant-based character of the liquid. Scientific studies on the wild Bulgarian raw material of the species rank precisely the oxygenated monoterpenes among the leading volatile compounds of the oil. The monoterpenes give the liquid a fresh and minty scent, whose light sweetness is perceived only towards the very end of its olfactory profile. The aroma is strong and remains clearly defined throughout the entire volume of the product. The volume remains fluid, and the saturated blue-green colour is visible throughout the entire liquid mass. The oxygenated monoterpenes determine the volatility of the tansy oil.

Storage
